Live and historical prices for ten precious and base metals, gold karat and silver fineness prices, forex and crypto quotes, market status and mining stocks, through one REST API.

Zyla gives each endpoint its own URL under https://zylalabs.com/api/14481/metal+sentinel+api/ and authenticates with a bearer token. Query parameters are the same as on RapidAPI:

Prices are per unit in the requested currency. unit is OUNCE (troy ounce) for precious metals; base metals state their own unit. timestamp is Unix seconds.

Each sample is a single-file client with a runnable main. The samples call the RapidAPI gateway; set METAL_SENTINEL_KEY to your RapidAPI key first.

On Zyla, prefix the Zyla path with https://zylalabs.com/api/14481/metal+sentinel+api/ and send the same query parameters. Full parameters and response schemas are in openapi.json.

Validation failures and upstream feed errors return HTTP 200 with an error field:

The samples above raise on that field so you never silently read a missing price.

The collection is published on the Postman API Network: fork it into your own workspace, set the rapidapi_key collection variable, and every endpoint is pre-filled with example parameters. The same file is in postman/ if you prefer to import it by hand.

Issues and pull requests are welcome for the samples and the collection. The spec is generated from the API itself; report mismatches as issues and they will be fixed at the source.
